Mit dem Weinzierl KNX Modbus Gateway ConfigTool steht ein sogenanntes DCA (Device Configuration App) für die ETS zur Verfügung.
Mit diesem ist es möglich die Konfiguration einer Weinzierl KNX Modbus RTU Gateway 886 Datenbank zu exportieren und in ein anderes Gateway zu importieren. Somit wird ein mühsames Konfigurieren per Hand erspart.

Mit den WAREMA KNX SMI Mehrfachaktoren im Aufputz- oder Reiheneinbaugehäuse lassen sich bis zu 16 SMI oder SMI LoVo Antriebe unabhängig voneinander oder in bis zu 16 Gruppen steuern. Einzigartig ist die manuelle Vorrangbedienung und Statusanzeige der Binäreingänge per Bluetooth App und DCA App, außerdem ist die Bedienung direkt am Aktor möglich. Die Inbetriebnahme und Motorensuche/-zuordnung erfolgt per Smartphone oder ETS DCA App. Über diese App kann auch die Fehlerliste der SMI Motor ausgelesen und quittiert werden, oder Wendeimpulse eingelernt werden.

A KNX device is described into a collection of assets (ex. lamps, switches, sensors, etc.). Then, each asset can have different usages adjusting its parameters.
The assets are then gathered under a space, which dynamically creates the right Group Addresses (with Group Objects). A space may be an office, a room in hotel, a corridor, a facade, etc.
All the engineering is dynamic and gets adapted to the space created, whether it is large, small, with more or less assets, etc.
The solution can be exported as a package and reused across projects.
KNX Space Commissioning also allows the export of the project into the ABB Building Edge, which is a solution hosting applications such as ABB Ability Control Hub, used for monitoring and control of buildings.
