Een KNX-apparaat wordt beschreven als een verzameling activa (bv. lampen, schakelaars, sensoren, enz.). Vervolgens kan elk activa verschillende toepassingen hebben, waarbij de parameters kunnen worden aangepast.
De activa worden vervolgens verzameld onder een ruimte, waardoor op dynamische wijze de juiste groepsadressen (met groepsobjecten) worden aangemaakt. Een ruimte kan een kantoor, een hotelkamer, een gang, een gevel, enz. zijn.
Alle engineering is dynamisch en wordt aangepast aan de gecreëerde ruimte, of deze nu groot of klein is, met meer of minder activa, enz.
De oplossing kan als pakket worden geëxporteerd en in verschillende projecten worden hergebruikt.

KNX Space Commissioning works with any device from any manufacturer.
A KNX device is described into a collection of assets (ex. lamps, switches, sensors, etc.). Then, each asset can have different usages adjusting its parameters.
The assets are then gathered under a space, which dynamically creates the right Group Addresses (with Group Objects). A space may be an office, a room in hotel, a corridor, a facade, etc.
All the engineering is dynamic and gets adapted to the space created, whether it is large, small, with more or less assets, etc.
The solution can be exported as a package and reused across projects.
KNX Space Commissioning also allows the export of the project into the ABB Building Edge, which is a solution hosting applications such as ABB Ability Control Hub, used for monitoring and control of buildings.

De app MDT RF + Range Check is een handige tool voor de analyse en planning van KNX radio-installaties volgens de nieuwe RF + standaard.
De tool helpt u de installatieplaats voor nieuwe installaties te kiezen en problemen in bestaande radio-installaties te analyseren en op te lossen.
