Apparaten kunnen comfortabel worden onderhouden met de Gira KNX Service App. Het is mogelijk om de nieuwe firmware te downloaden naar bestaande apparaten. Bovendien kunnen oudere firmwareversies ook op bestaande apparaten worden overgedragen (bv. in het geval dat een apparaat zou vervangen worden).
De programmeerinterface van de ETS wordt gebruikt om de firmware te programmeren. Alle KNX media worden hier ondersteund (TP, IP, RF).

A KNX device is described into a collection of assets (ex. lamps, switches, sensors, etc.). Then, each asset can have different usages adjusting its parameters.
The assets are then gathered under a space, which dynamically creates the right Group Addresses (with Group Objects). A space may be an office, a room in hotel, a corridor, a facade, etc.
All the engineering is dynamic and gets adapted to the space created, whether it is large, small, with more or less assets, etc.
The solution can be exported as a package and reused across projects.
KNX Space Commissioning also allows the export of the project into the ABB BuildingPro Edge, which is a solution hosting applications such as ABB BuildingPro Vision, used for monitoring and control of buildings.

With the “WAREMA KNXMCM BAline Studio Exchange” ETS app, CSV files that were previously generated in BAline Studio can be imported to ETS. These files contain information about names and types of objects and the direction of data flow, which were set in BAline Studio projects.
With “KNXMCM BAline Studio Exchange” the settings on KNX devices can be easily made so that the corresponding BAline Studio Project can run perfectly on these devices.
“KNXMCM BAline Studio Exchange” can in each case be run for only one device.
If a receiver heartbeat was set up for group objects in BAline Studio, a message appears in the “Information” field.
