ETSpilot – AI Assistant for the ETS
ETSpilot is an AI-powered assistant for the ETS, consisting of an ETS AddIn and an associated web portal.
The AddIn integrates directly into the ETS and provides an intelligent assistant that supports the planner in designing KNX installations. It analyzes the open project, answers questions in chat and agent mode, and can automate recurring work steps – such as creating and parameterizing devices, structuring projects, and generating group addresses.
The Portal (account.etspilot.de) is used for account and subscription management, for storing your own AI provider and API key, for maintaining prompt templates, and for accessing multilingual help articles. Users retain full control over the AI services they use and their data.
ETSpilot speeds up commissioning, reduces routine effort, and lowers the barrier to entry for working with the ETS – with full transparency over all AI interactions.

The ETS App Extended Copy is used to quickly create similar structures in a project. During the copy process, a dedicated dialog will allow devices, bus lines, even complete building parts together with their destination address assignments, configuration, Group Addresses, links, text descriptions and other information to be adjusted. Thereafter, the configuration is inserted seamlessly.
For full system visualisation, telegrams shall be allowed to pass the line coupler. To this end, a dummy device is inserted in the ETS project. It contains all the Group Addresses required by the visualisation system. The ETS takes the Group Addresses from the dummy device into account when creating the filter tables.

OWL ProBuilder is an ETS6 app by OWL Automata P.C. that runs inside ETS and allows projects generated outside ETS, by tools such as Chameleon Plus, to be imported directly into the currently open ETS project.
Open an ETS project, select a valid .knxproj file generated by an OWL Automata design tool (like Chameleon Plus), review any detected conflicts, and confirm the import. ProBuilder then applies the configuration through ETS, including:
Topology: areas, lines, and devices
Group addresses
Devices and trades
Building structure
Device parameters and related settings
If the source file is password-protected, ProBuilder prompts you to enter the password. When existing project data is detected in the open ETS project, you can choose whether to merge, replace, or skip the data before importing.
Project Data Exchange helps you to transfer ETS project data like topology, Group Addresses and building structure by exporting and importing

The Reconstruction tool can be used to read out devices in the installation and then create a new ETS project or update an existing project. You may also compare the data from the installation against an ETS project.
This allows to work on projects where the ETS database has been lost or is out of date. This will also work for installations which were created with a previous version of ETS.
These items can be reconstructed: topology, devices with individual address, application program, parameter settings and group object flags, priority and assigned group addresses. You need bus access and same product data which were used to program the devices.
Building or trade structure as well as name and description texts of areas, lines, devices and group addresses will not be reconstructed because they were not programmed into the device.
Note: Devices with plug-ins can only be read out / reconstructed, if supported by the manufacturer of the plug-ins. In case of doubt please contact the manufacturer or our support.
Devices whose product data cannot be used in the current ETS can not be reconstructed.

With the ETS App Replace Device, you can replace KNX devices while keeping their Group Addresses. This is possible for devices with similar functionality, regardless of the manufacturer.
Shift Addresses helps you to re-structure Group Addresses and Individual Addresses in an ETS project, e.g.
- Shift addresses to make room for a new function but still keep an established addressing scheme

Siemens offers the possibility to exchange data from SIMATIC S7 PLC to KNX systems via KNXnet/IP interfaces. This ETS App enables the user to export a Group Address data (Main addresses 0-15) from ETS in a CSV file which can be imported to Siemens KNX2S7 Editor. The additional available KNX2S7 Editor creates required data for SIMATIC S7.
Simple, fast, faultless - this is how configuration and commissioning work with the STX Service-Tool. The SunControlObject replaces the complex linking of single group addresses and the STX Service-Tool supports the setting of the parameters. Once a channel is completed individual parameters or entire parameter sets can be copied to other channels just at the push of a button. For commissioning of SMI systems each drive can be controlled individually via ETS. The channel assignment can directly be changed and the adaptation of the group addresses and multiple programming of the application is not necessary anymore.

The Timberwolf Server has a few thousand universal objects, which are deactivated by default.
To be able to use a Group Object it has to be released by choosing its data type from a list in the application for the corresponding object. The group object may then be linked with Group Addresses.
The Timberwolf Importer App simplifies this process by uploading a control file containing Group Addresses with data type and optional Group Object numbers to be released. This control file can be exported from a Timberwolf Server or a WireGate Server or can be created by hand.
