"Check and Improve" helps you ensure and improve the formal quality of your ETS projects. This includes the verification and semi-automatic correction of spelling, configurable naming conventions, and the assignment of Datapoint types.
Without much effort, the project gets more clearly arranged, better maintainable and will be the perfect base for further use, e.g. for a visualization.

The Spell checker can make use of many freely available dictionaries in lots of languages e.g. from the OpenOffice and Mozilla projects, plus user dictionaries for additional words.
The naming conventions can be defined by combining building blocks like "alternative", "concatenation", "list of allowed names", "list of names from project", "pattern" etc. to a rule.
The Datapoint type assignment has access to an online database with information currently about approx. 1000 application programs (continuously growing).

The APP MDT RF + Range Check is a useful tool for the analysis and planning of KNX radio installations according to the new RF + standard.
The tool helps you to plan the installation location for new installations as well as to analyze and correct problems in existing radio installations. The MDT RF + Range Check shows you in a simple graphical matrix which connections are critical. Long-term analyzes are also possible to identify external interference sources.
The repeater functionality of the RF + devices can also be examined and evaluated with this tool.

The ETS App “Zennio Parameter Copier” is a tool which helps in the versions update process of Zennio products. This tool allows to copy parameters and group objects associations between different products versions, making the updating process faster.

This tool is a beta application version which has been published to facilitate maintenance and updating tasks to Zennio clients.
The copy could not work properly since it depends on the internal application program construction, which can vary between versions just a little bit or a lot, so it is highly recommended to double check it to verify that the copy process has been successful.

With the ETS App Labels, device labels based on forms can be printed as stickers. The information (Individual Address, mounting, function, etc.) is taken directly from the ETS project. This not only facilitates the work of the installer or system integrator, but also provides consistent overview within distribution boards and cabinets. Please note that an installed version of Microsoft Word is needed for printing the labels.
With ETS App Device Compare you can compare the an individual device from the installation with the available data in the corresponding ETS project. In this way the current state as in the installation can be compared with the expected state as in the ETS project. Dissimilarities in device configuration will be shown and the result can also serve as evidence in case a third party has tampered with the installation.
With the ETS App Split & Merge, a project can be split into two, three or more parts. Several ETS users can edit them independently and merge again them after completion of the entire project. This works also with unrelated projects, so that it can be merged.
The ETS App Extended Copy is used to quickly create similar structures in a project. During the copy process, a dedicated dialog will allow devices, bus lines, even complete building parts together with their destination address assignments, configuration, Group Addresses, links, text descriptions and other information to be adjusted. Thereafter, the configuration is inserted seamlessly.
With the ETS App My Device Templates you can configure devices in your project, save the configuration as template and then reuse it in other projects as well so that you do not have to configure the devices again and again in the same way.
The ETS App Device Reader can be used in order to read out the memory and the properties of devices, which will provide the user with crucial and possible clarifying information. This information can also be saved as a file.

The Reconstruction tool can be used to read out devices in the installation and then create a new ETS project or update an existing project. You may also compare the data from the installation against an ETS project.
This allows to work on projects where the ETS database has been lost or is out of date. This will also work for installations which were created with a previous version of ETS.
These items can be reconstructed: topology, devices with individual address, application program, parameter settings and group object flags, priority and assigned group addresses. You need bus access and same product data which were used to program the devices.
Building or trade structure as well as name and description texts of areas, lines, devices and group addresses will not be reconstructed because they were not programmed into the device.
Note: Devices with plug-ins can only be read out / reconstructed, if supported by the manufacturer of the plug-ins. In case of doubt please contact the manufacturer or our support.
Devices whose product data cannot be used in the current ETS can not be reconstructed.

For full system visualisation, telegrams shall be allowed to pass the line coupler. To this end, a dummy device is inserted in the ETS project. It contains all the Group Addresses required by the visualisation system. The ETS takes the Group Addresses from the dummy device into account when creating the filter tables.

KNX Space Commissioning works with any device from any manufacturer.
A KNX device is described into a collection of assets (ex. lamps, switches, sensors, etc.). Then, each asset can have different usages adjusting its parameters.
The assets are then gathered under a space, which dynamically creates the right Group Addresses (with Group Objects). A space may be an office, a room in hotel, a corridor, a facade, etc.
All the engineering is dynamic and gets adapted to the space created, whether it is large, small, with more or less assets, etc.

This ETS App is intended to exchange Group Address information of Busch-ComfortTouch® panels from Busch-Jaeger or ABB between ETS and IPP. The ETS App provides IPP data with recent changes in ETS and vice versa ETS data in IPP. By pressing the import button you can import XML files that were created by IPP into ETS. Using the export button you can generate an XML file for import into IPP.
To import the configuration of a KNX project into a management application like an OPC server, the ETS offers an export function called "Export OPC". This export functionality provides only basic information about the KNX installation. The NETx BMS App is a user-friendly way to import the whole KNX project and its meta-information into the NETx BMS Server or the NETx KNX OPC Server. The output of this ETS App is an enhanced export file that contains the used KNX Group Addresses, the deployed KNXnet/IP routers and interfaces, and the full ETS project structure including the network topology (areas, lines, devices, and Group Objects) as well as the building and trade view. In addition, the App detects the configured IP addresses of the KNXnet/IP routers and interfaces. Based on the topology of the KNX project, the App automatically assigns the KNX Group Addresses to the routers and interfaces that are later on used for accessing them. Thus, a manual, time-consuming and error-prone assignment of the KNX Group Addresses to the KNXnet/IP routers and interfaces is not necessary anymore. Using the NETx BMS App, the whole KNX project including the well-known ETS view can be imported into the NETx BMS Server or NETx KNX OPC Server in a fast and intuitive way.
Reactivates the protocol EIBlib/IP in ETS (not standardised and since KNXnet/IP redeemed). With this ETS App the establishment of an ETS connection using with this protocol is again possible.

The Griesser GPA (Griesser Protocol Analyzer) app can decode, record and save KNX bus telegrams of the type 6-byte Griesser object. The GPA app works as a supplement to the Bus or Group Monitor integrated in the ETS. The Griesser GPA app must be launched separately from the Bus or Group Monitor and simultaneously records all KNX telegrams. As it does so, the Griesser object telegrams are recorded in decoded form. The Timberwolf Server has a few thousand universal objects, which are deactivated by default.
To be able to use a Group Object it has to be released by choosing its data type from a list in the application for the corresponding object. The group object may then be linked with Group Addresses.
The Timberwolf Importer App simplifies this process by uploading a control file containing Group Addresses with data type and optional Group Object numbers to be released. This control file can be exported from a Timberwolf Server or a WireGate Server or can be created by hand.
KNX Virtual is a Windows application representing a KNX installation, i.e. it is not a physical installation but it behaves like one.
The advantage is that no investment in hardware (i.e. KNX power supply, KNX/USB interface or KNX/IP interface, KNX devices) needs to be made in order to test and play with KNX & ETS.

With the WAREMA KNX SMI multiple actuators in surface-mounted or DIN rail-mounted housing, up to 16 SMI LoVo drives can be controlled independently of one another or in up to 16 groups. This ETS-APP is a tool that allows updating the operating system of some KNX Zennio devices through ETS without having to send them to the factory.
The OS update does not involve a change of functionality or version of the ETS application program, but updates a lower memory layer.
These updates are usually not necessary throughout the lifetime of the product unless there is a behaviour that cannot be changed with a new version of the application program via ETS.

The ETS app JUNG IPS-Remote enables the remote maintenance of KNX installations via the Internet after local approval by the customer.
The connection is established by the JUNG KNX IP Secure interfaces. The remote maintenance works independent of the type of internet connection and doesn´t require any configuration of the local network environment.
After release via a communication object, the IP interface establishes a connection to the Remote Access Server (RAS). The ETS app JUNG IPS-Remote also connects to this server and sets up the corresponding connection.

In order to securely integrate the scanned device certificates into the ETS, the installer transfers the JSON files created with the JUNG KNX Secure Scanner to his computer. Several files can come together there, which he archives and imports into the ETS project using the ETS app JUNG KNX Secure Key Loader. This extension is available via the KNX Association App-Shop and is bound to the ETS dongle. The installation is performed via the App menu in the main menu of ETS 5 Professional.

Theben Firmware Update App is a maintenance tool that allows you to update specific Theben KNX devices to a newer firmware version in case of bugfixes, new functionality and so on. Your application data and settings will not be removed.
This DCA enables the KNX panel 8" from JUNG to be commissioned. With the seperate software JUNG KNX SMART PANEL DESIGNER the KNX-Panel 8" can be parameterized easily and intuitively. Afterwards the configuration file is imported into the ETS via the DCA, where the group addresses are linked. The download is then carried out via the ETS standard mechanism. Furthermore, an existing parameterization can be exported in the DCA and thus be edited in the JUNG KNX SMART PANEL DESIGNER.
