Devices can be maintained comfortably using the Steinel ETS Service App. It is possible to download new firmware to existing devices. In addition, older firmware versions can also be transferred to existing devices (e.g. in the case of a device exchange).

The programming interface of the ETS is used for a firmware programming operation. All KNX media are supported here (TP, IP, RF).

The APP MDT RF + Range Check is a useful tool for the analysis and planning of KNX radio installations according to the new RF + standard.
The tool helps you to plan the installation location for new installations as well as to analyze and correct problems in existing radio installations. The MDT RF + Range Check shows you in a simple graphical matrix which connections are critical. Long-term analyzes are also possible to identify external interference sources.

With the ETS App Replace Device, you can replace KNX devices while keeping their Group Addresses. This is possible for devices with similar functionality, regardless of the manufacturer.

The ETS App Extended Copy is used to quickly create similar structures in a project. During the copy process, a dedicated dialog will allow devices, bus lines, even complete building parts together with their destination address assignments, configuration, Group Addresses, links, text descriptions and other information to be adjusted. Thereafter, the configuration is inserted seamlessly.

For full system visualisation, telegrams shall be allowed to pass the line coupler. To this end, a dummy device is inserted in the ETS project. It contains all the Group Addresses required by the visualisation system. The ETS takes the Group Addresses from the dummy device into account when creating the filter tables.

The Weinzierl BAOS CSV Importer is an easy way to export the existing configuration of a generic BAOS database to a CSV file and import it into another project. This eliminates the need for tedious manual configuration. The Weinzierl BAOS CSV Importer is available for all Weinzierl BAOS devices with a generic ETS product database.

Griesser offers innovative configuration options. Using a tile system, functions are «stacked» according to their priority. This is similar to the list of priorities in a requirements specification.
Despite the high degree of flexibility, no programming language has to be learned because the intuitive tiles are configured in the predefined and tested scope. Each tile also contains «its own» communication objects and specific settings options.

In order to securely integrate the scanned device certificates into the ETS, the installer transfers the JSON files created with the JUNG KNX Secure Scanner to his computer. Several files can come together there, which he archives and imports into the ETS project using the ETS app JUNG KNX Secure Key Loader. This extension is available via the KNX Association App-Shop and is bound to the ETS dongle. The installation is performed via the App menu in the main menu of ETS 6 Professional.
